One of the most frustrating things about using mobile phones is having to pay for calls that landline users get for free.
0800 at the start of a number should mean that it is free, and you shouldn’t pay more than the price of a normal phone call for 0845 and 0870 numbers. Most mobile operators charge you a premium for dialing these numbers, and it can make for unwelcome and unnecessarily high mobile bills every month. The problem is made worse by the fact that most large companies now use these numbers as the only way to get in touch with them, forcing you to use them – and to pay for them!
BT Mobile recognizes this problem, and now offer their Helpline Extra bundle on all new or re-signed accounts.
Now for only £3.50 per month you will get 1000 additional minutes to use exclusively on 0800, 0845 and 0870 numbers – great news if you need to call them a lot, and a sure way to trim those mobile bils down!
